Privacy Policy (Flowport)

Privacy Policy

Flowport Pty Ltd ("Flowport", "we", "us", "our") provides an order export and automation app for merchants ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when merchants install and use the App.

1. Information we collect

When a merchant installs and uses the App, we may collect and process:

  • Store and account details (for example: store domain, app installation/session data)
  • Order data required for App functionality (for example: order identifiers, line items, prices, tags, shipping/contact fields)
  • Configuration data entered by the merchant (for example: destination email, routing rules, template settings)
  • Delivery and operational logs (for example: export status, send attempts, timestamps, error messages)
  • Technical data needed for security and reliability (for example: request metadata and diagnostic logs)

We collect this information from Shopify APIs/webhooks, merchant inputs, and App usage.

2. How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide core App functionality (order export automation and delivery)
  • Process and route exports based on merchant settings
  • Maintain delivery history, status visibility, and resend functionality
  • Support, troubleshoot, and improve the App
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate abuse or security issues
  • Comply with legal and contractual obligations

3. Data sharing and end recipients

The App may transfer merchant data to end recipients selected or required by the merchant workflow, including:

  • Merchant ERP/back-office systems (for example, JIM2 workflows)
  • Merchant-configured destination email inboxes
  • Service providers that support App hosting, storage, and delivery operations

We do not sell personal information.

4. Data retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the App, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Merchants may request deletion as described below, subject to legal requirements.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Merchant responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for configuring destinations and workflows appropriately, and for ensuring their own downstream systems and recipients handle data in compliance with applicable laws.

7. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect data when transferred across borders.

8. Shopify-required privacy webhooks

Where required, we process and respond to Shopify privacy/compliance requests (including customer data requests and redaction requests) in accordance with Shopify requirements and applicable law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised effective date.
