Decorly ("Decorly", "we", "us", or "our") provides tools for Shopify merchants to generate and publish 3D rug models for storefront visualization and AR experiences.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and what choices you have when you install or use Decorly.

1) Scope

This policy applies to merchants and store staff who use Decorly in Shopify admin and to store data processed by Decorly.
It does not govern how merchants collect or use their customers' data on their own storefronts.

2) Information we collect

When you install and use Decorly, we may collect and process the following categories of information:

Shop and account information from Shopify
- Shop domain and store identifier
- Session and authentication information provided by Shopify
- Basic account information made available by Shopify (for example, staff name or email)
Store configuration information
- App settings you configure (for example, brand name, primary color, visualizer preferences, and feature toggles)
Product and model-generation information
- Product and variant identifiers and titles selected for model generation
- Product image URLs used as source images
- Generated 3D asset files (GLB) and related metadata (for example, dimensions, file name)
- Job history and status logs (for example, pending, processing, uploaded, failed)
Technical and operational information
- Basic service logs needed to operate, debug, and secure the app

3) How we use information

We use collected information to:

Authenticate merchants and provide app functionality
Generate 3D rug models from product images
Link generated model assets to Shopify variants for storefront use
Display and manage generation status, usage, and history in the app admin interface
Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues
Maintain app security, reliability, and performance
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

4) How we share information

We do not sell merchant personal information.

We may share information only in the following circumstances:

With Shopify, as required to provide app functionality through Shopify APIs
With infrastructure/service providers that host or support our app operations (for example, hosting and database providers), under contractual confidentiality obligations
When required by law or to respond to valid legal process
To protect rights, security, and integrity of Decorly, merchants, Shopify, or the public

5) Storefront visibility of model links

Decorly may write model URLs to Shopify variant metafields configured for storefront usage.
As a result, model links intended for storefront rendering may be publicly accessible where exposed by the merchant's theme or storefront configuration.

Merchants are responsible for how storefront content is displayed to shoppers.

6) Data retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the app and for legitimate business/legal purposes.

While the app is installed, we retain operational data needed for model generation and account management.
When the app uninstall event is received, we delete shop-scoped app data from our systems, including sessions, shop settings, generation jobs, and generated model assets, subject to technical and legal requirements.
We may retain minimal logs for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution where required.

7) Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) International data transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where our service providers operate.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

9) Your rights and choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information.
